Sean Woods |
|

|
|
|
|
When NCAA
probation
hit the
Kentucky
program in
late 1980's,
Indianapolis'
Sean Woods
was one of a
core of
players who
stuck with
the program,
passing up
what could
have been a
much easier
road
personally
had they
left the
program.
These four
players,
Woods,
Richie
Farmer,
Deron
Feldhaus &
John
Pelphrey,
became
affectionately
known as
'The
Unforgettables',
as they
brought the
program from
the ashes
back to
prominence
in a scant
three years.
The 1991-92
team is best
known as
having
participated
in the
"Greatest
Game Ever
Played", as
they fell on
a last
second shot
to #1 and
eventual
national
champion
Duke.
